Microsoft unveiled their next-gen console, Xbox One, on Tuesday. During their presentation they focused more on the console than on games but they did drop a few nuggets that gamers would like to know. The company says that fifteen games will be exclusive to Xbox One within the first twelve months of launch -- eight of which will be new IP.

Crytek has announced that they are developing an exclusive first-person hack and slash game for Xbox One called Ryse. The gameplay centers around a Roman warrior who can be controlled using the Kinect. Originally announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive in 2011, it has been in development ever since.

Xbox Live Arcade will not support indie self-publishers on Xbox One. Indie developers will either have to seek a third party publisher or sign a deal with Microsoft Game Studios. Microsoft has had a bad couple days. The company bungled a prime opportunity to sell their next-gen system to the general public. Company executives repeatedly contradicted each other on details of the Xbox One such as an always online requirement and a fee on used games. One thing that they got straight: backwards compatibility will not be a part of the system.

Bungie confirmed on their Facebook page that their upcoming first-person shooter, Destiny, will be coming to Xbox One. The game was previously announced for PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360.

Warner Bros. Interactive today announced that LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is out now for the Wii U making special use of the Wii U GamePad. The game was released on PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 last June. Versions were also made for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

The system will have an eight core processor, 8GB RAM, USB 3.0, HDMI input/output, a 500 GB harddrive and a Blu-ray drive. The controller's triggers reportedly will have 50 percent faster response.

Sony teased their upcoming PS4 console on Monday, one day ahead of a Microsoft event where the company will unveil the next Xbox console. The video, which was undoubtedly meant to draw attention away from the Xbox announcement, definitely succeeded in generating buzz. "PS4" was a trending topic on Twitter earlier in the day.
